We met Marie Bourdon for the first time seven years ago over a harvest lunch through Raphael Monnier; she was a partner on the Avis de Tempete wines.  It was a time in the Jura that it was hard to acquire land for new producers. Henri Maire sold some land (over 130 Hectares in Arbois) largely to Boisset. Boisset kept some Chardonnay for bubbles, then sold some parcels off. Marie bought a bottom of the hill parcel (1.2 ha) in Cramans (AOC Arbois) - just a few rows of forty year old organic and biodynamically farmed vines. The 2022 we're receiving is her fourth vintage from this parcel.
